Angels flooded the stage of Grand Palais, Paris for the 2016 Victoria's Secret fashion show. Scene stealers of the show were Jasmine Tookes, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and sister Bella, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd. Check out below why this year's show became extra special.
The highly anticipated highlight for this year's Victoria's Secret fashion show is the $3 million fantasy bra which was modeled by Jasmine Tookes. The anticipated star lingerie is covered with diamonds and emeralds and carries about 9,000 gemstones and weighs more than 450 karats. Jasmine Tookes shared that a special mold of her upper body was created as a base for the multi-million bra to fit her perfectly.
Outstanding musical performances have stolen the hearts of the audience too. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars rocked the house with their latest music. The crowd cheered the loudest when The Weeknd performed and took the time to serenade Bella Hadid with his popular song "Starboy." Bella is reportedly the on-and-off girlfriend of The Weeknd, USA Today reported.
Furthermore, Kendall Jenner captured all eyes when she came out on stage wearing bloody red lingerie, thigh-high boots and the giant suede angel wing. On the other hand, first-time angel, Bella Hadid wore a take-a-peek gray lingerie.
Gigi Hadid looked very sexy in her strappy black lingerie, thigh-high boots and giant black feather angel wing. Apparently, while strutting on the runway, one of the straps near her chest broke out. However, Gigi, being a pro model, was not burdened with the wardrobe malfunction and still managed to gracefully complete her catwalk performance, E! News reported.
Meanwhile, this year's Victoria's Secret fashion show became extra special as it marks the fulfillment of the dream of sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid. This year, Bella has joined her sister on the festive stage of Victoria's Secret. Yolanda, mother of the Hadid sisters, revealed through an Instagram post that it was a dream-come-true for Bella and Gigi to walk together on the stage of Victoria's Secret fashion show. The post depicts a photo of Bella and Gigi, taken 17 years ago, when they were both little girls, naked and just wearing the giant white angel's wings.
