With Pablo dead, nobody knows for sure what would become of him, but the first parts of this episode spoke about cooking up a plan to bring him back to life, probably hinting on a possible comeback. The old Ash, on the other hand, is thinking about going back in time to stop his young self from getting hold of the book. And just like what TV Fanatic wrote in an article, this episode took us back to how Season 1 ended in the cabin, although the cabin here was like how it was from its original back in 1982.

According to Forbes, while there are plans of having Pablo spring back to life, it is but fitting that "Ash Vs Evil Dead" now follow suit to the latest time-travelling trends of TV series. An important note to remember though when time-travelling is involved is that messing with the past brings chaos in the present. In this case, if young Ash will not be able to read the book then he will not have met Pablo and Kelly and his mission to stop evil will not happen.

Going back to the past is a wonderful surprise which greatly sets the mood for the upcoming season finale. It opens many possibilities of what is yet to happen which is exciting because fans will be on their toes thinking about it. Now that Baal is defeated and Pablo paid the price for it, old Ash will be tinkering with the past which no one knows if it will bring more good than bad.
