Amazon, Think Geek Offer NES Classic Console For Last Minute Grabbers And Video Game Console Collecors

And just like that, the Nintendo NES Classic sells out of most online retailers that carried the nostalgic gaming console. Those who have been outdone by their peers in purchasing the NES, however, are still sourcing for sources, and to finally get their hands on the instant throwback. Luckily for them, there are still a couple of sites that offers the NES Classic.

As per The Daily Dot, Think Geek is one of those who took matters into their own hands. The deal is that since there are still a lot who wants to get their hands on the console, Think Geek made a deal as fair as they can and added the NES Classic as a Wish List option. Fans have until Monday (December 12) to add the NES on their list; on that day, Timmy will begin to "randomly select batches of fans" and those selected will be given a unique code and a link via their email. The code is only valid for 24 hours, and if they can't use the code, their chance "goes back in the mix."

Another is Amazon. The e-commerce leader's Video Games arm tweeted that they're cooking up a "couple exciting announcements to make in the coming week." The post didn't give any more hints, but they did mention for fans to "stay tuned". The NES Classic is also on their official website along with video shorts on the console.

Also known as the Nintendo Entertainment System, the console will instantly transport users back to the good old days of video games. This year's offering comes with 30 pre-installed games like Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mega Man 2 and many more. The miniaturized, "plug-and-play" console is also bundled with an HDMI cable, AC adapter, and should be compatible with the NES' Classic Controller and the Classic Controller Pro.
