‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ 2017 News & Updates: Winged Suit, The Vulture And New Promo Teaser Revealed [VIDEO]

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” just released a short teaser that showed fans Spidey’s new look. The teaser was released on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

So, what’s new with the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man? The most successful solo superhero now has web wings. Yes, Spider-Man, played by Tim Holland, has an improved suit that allows the superhero more freedom to be in the air.

It’s not a secret that he’d eventually develop this gliding capacity as this has already appeared in the 1962 original Marvel comics. Even the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” character is happy with the new addition. He says in the teaser that it’s “the coolest thing” he has ever seen, Yahoo reports.

The Vulture, portrayed by Michael Keaton, is said to be the main villain of this stand alone film. There are still no concrete details about the villain but Tom Holland describes him as “really scary,” USA Today reports.

It’s clear that addition to Spidey’s new suit is necessary as he’d be fighting against The Vulture in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Some reports say that the villain is terrifying as he could just grab anyone in the streets with a bird costume that’s freakishly designed to reign terror.

For the villain’s origin, Jon Watts, the film’s director, adds that he could just be any regular guy turning into a supervillain. However, he is not alone this time. It’s reported that he’ll be working with The Tinkerer, portrayed by Michael Chernus and The Shocker who will be portrayed by Bokeem Woodbine, Cinema Blend reports.

The new Spider-Man was first introduced in “Captain America: Civil War.” With this, it’s expected that some familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will also be seen in the new film. It’s reported that Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will have a cameo in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

Who else do you want to see in the new film? Sound your comments below as the highly-anticipated “Spider-Man: Homecoming” is set to hit the theaters on July 7, 2017.
