“The Man in the High Castle” Season 2 is nearing its premiere in Amazon Prime. However, the second season isn’t only raising excitement but also eyebrows, here’s why.

A billboard of season 2 is being criticized because it depicts the Statue of Liberty raising her hand similar to a Nazi salute. Considering that the series represents what happened to America in World War II, it’s clear that Amazon has a concrete reason for the billboard.

Amazon spokesperson said that the show still dwells in a fictional world. “The Man in the High Castle” clearly revolves around the plot of how America could have been if history was made the opposite, Fox reports.

Some predictions for the second season include that the man in the show’s title is not Hitler. Here, the titular man is someone who already played a vital role in the first season of the show.

It’s also said that there will be a new leader of the resistance. This means that new faces will be seen in the upcoming episodes of the second season.

With this new leader also comes to a new war; the cold war. “The Man in the High Castle” season 2 is when Japan and Germany will be a cold war. There’s still no clue of who’s going to win the war, and that’s something viewers are also excited to see, Inverse reports.

John Smith’s (Rufus Sewell) son who has a disability will play a significant role in the upcoming season. Though he was not focussed in the first season, this season, it’s clear that he’ll do something big. In a promo video, Thomas Smith is seen leading his class in pledging for Adolf Hitler.

“The Man in the High Castle” season 1 premieres on Dec. 16. All the episodes will be available at Amazon Prime.
