‘Surf World Series’ Updates: Surfing Video Game for PS4, Xbox One & Steam Announces Release Date In New Trailer

The new video game 'Surf World Series' announces its release date in its trailer. It is the first console game since Kelly Slater Pro Surfer by Activision in 2002 that promises killer tricks and surging waves.

The new trailer released for 'Surf World Series' announced that it will release the game in 2017. It is said that it will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam.

According to its developer, the new game focuses on recreating waves that looks stunning and swells that moves naturally. According to PCgamer, players can also customize its own signature surfer to stand out from other gamers. Wetsuits, boards and patterns will also be unlocked as players progress with their skillset and rank up.

The game will feature the top 5 surfing destinations in the world, that includes Waimea Beach, Hawaii and Bell Beach, Australia. The gameplay will be in a simple arcade style which focus on improving and testing skills with 45 single player challenges. It will also include an online tournament with 15 other players in three multiplayer modes, according to iDigitalTimes.

"As developers, our goal was to capture the vibes that make surfing culture what it is - we amped up the intensity with powerful oceans, stunning backdrops and simple arcade gameplay," said Studio Climax producer Jamie Fisher. "Surf World Series is easy to get into, but pulling off epic stunts and new school tricks makes it deceptively difficult to master. It takes timing, precision, and most of all, the drive to take on treacherous tubes and monster waves, or dominate the competition online."

As 'Surf World Series' is focused on capturing the feel of real waves, players can expect that it will be a challenge to make tricks and epic stunts. Best surfing tricks like Superman and Sushi Roll will also be available when winning in the competition.
