Two Men Assault And Rob A 33-Year-Old Mother Who Tended Children In Buggy

A 33-year-old mother was walking down Ferry Road Avenue on Friday at 4:30 when she saw two men approaching. However, it turned into an assault when the men attacked her. According to the authorities, the assault was a "cowardly" move.

Following the attack, the mother had to go through a minor facial injury treatment provided by an ambulance that arrived at the scene. Fortunately, the police confirmed the children were not harmed during the attack.

According to the police, the women fell to the ground while trying to guard her children. However, the two men had no intentions of killing the women or her children. Instead, they wanted to steal the purse of the mother in which they succeeded and run away with it as the victim fell to the ground.

As per BBC News, police gave brief explanations of the situation as they labeled the attack as cowardly. They further described the appearance of the purse, which was a black Primark Atmosphere faux leather bag with an oblique top with suede that was present on both sides along with a gold bar.

It had a number of items present inside, which included a four-figure sum of cash and a baby feeding equipment. The authorities also shared the description of the appearance of the criminals. The first criminal was reported as being a white male, who was in his late teens and about 5 feet tall with an athletic build.

He was wearing a dim hooded shirt, dark colored jogging bottoms, two-tone Nike Air Max trainers and a dark face cover. The second criminal, on the other hand, was also a white male in his late teens. He was between 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, had a slim build and was wearing a dark hooded top, as WN News reported.
