Woman In Florida Caught Stealing Christmas Gifts For The Under-Privileged

The police reported that a woman was caught stealing presents which were stocked to be gifted to deprived kids on Christmas. The sheriff on Tuesday said that the robber would be given punishment for what she did.

The robber came to be known as 'The Grinch'. She was 38 years old and her real name was Tammy Strickland from what the police has uncovered from the investigation. The woman reportedly used names of around a hundred and forty kids and some adults to get the toys. She gave applications to get the toys using fake names.

The thirty-eight-year-old was arrested and taken into custody on Monday and was convicted for robbery. The objects that were there for the children who were needy were for the purpose of gifting on Christmas day. Stealing gifts for the needy for personal gain is something entirely disgusting and should be dealt with the appropriate forms of justice.

According to The Newyork Post, the woman was seen loading up the play objects into an RV at the warehouse until the sheriffs who were closely keeping track of what she was doing, came to inquire about what she was doing and consequently took her into custody, apprehending her for more details.

A search team was also sent to the woman's home to search for the stolen objects. Around one hundred and eighteen were said to be found at the residence of Strickland and the presents were in their packs but were not covered with gift papers.

Nobody knew if she was further going to give the toys for free or cost for them, but surely she was robbing as Chrome Splash reports. But later on, when further investigations were carried out, the reason for stealing the toys was revealed.

Apparently, the woman was basically running a business. She was publicizing the tax preparation by using free giveaways and one of those free giveaways were to come from the stolen gifts.
