New Missouri Law Will Treat In-School Fights Strictly

A new notice that had been sent to the parents and also the guardians of the students of Hazelwood Institute which is situated in St. Louis, by the staff, had something very surprising mentioned in it. In the letter, the staff had awarded the parents that any school fight between the two pupils can result into something very dangerous and the fighters might regret fighting after the outcomes.

Four years in prison. Yes, that is the punishment of getting into a brawl now. This was written in the letter sent. According to the notification, if in the quarrel, one of the two kids is damaged or injured, one of the two kids who caused the wounds or harmed will be given punishment, as mentioned above.

The law will impose if the officers or the guards of the school evidence the scene by themselves. According to The Huffington Post, the rights counselors say that if the kids are taken into custody after they get involved in a fight, this can force the kids out of the institution and into the lawbreaker equity system.

This will have an impact on the students. Especially, the students with color. This school is already famous for treating its pupils with colors in a very harsh way. As a reply to the notice, many have said that the fights of the schools won't stay in schools now, but will be dragged towards the courts.

The directorate of the Missouri Gay Straight also had similar views about it and said that these issues
would not be dealt by the officials of the school after this. However, the misuse of this law is already being witnessed. The students are quite usually mistreated and hit. Also physically attacked, and they can not do any self-defence because of the new rule.
