Capcom Releases New Trailer For ‘Resident Evil: Vendetta’; Clip Features Advanced Zombies!

A brand new trailer was released by Capcom in relation to their upcoming "Resident Evil: Vendetta" project. The trailer showcased action scenes that look amazing.

"Resident Evil: Vendetta" is Capcom's latest CG animated horror flick which was showcased during the Tokyo Game show 2016. The Tokyo Game Show presentation featured Chris Redfield in what seems to be the setting of the very first "Resident Evil" video game installment according to GameRant's Article.  

The new trailer features Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy on a quest to stop Glenn Arias who took over the Umbrella Corporation. Glen Arias has created a new breed of zombies which has the ability to distinguish enemies and follow commands. The new trailer also features Rebecca Chambers who was a supporting character in the very first "Resident Evil" installment. Compared to the clip featured During the Tokyo Game Show, the new trailer showcased a lot of action scenes from the upcoming movie.

"Resident Evil: Vendetta" takes place after the events of "Resident Evil 6" and is the third CG movie based on the "Resident Evil" franchise. The first movie, "Resident Evil: Degeneration" features Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield (sister of Chris Redfield) fighting off WilPharma after the events in Raccoon City. "Resident Evil: Degeneration" sold more than 1.6 million copies worldwide in 2010 based on Capcom's press release.

The follow-up to "Resident Evil: Degeneration" was released in October of 2012 with the title "Resident Evil: Damnation." It featured Leon Kennedy in a fictional country called East Slav Republic investigating on an information of related to the use of Bio Organic Weapons (BOW) during their civil war. Leon Kennedy is accompanied by Ada Wong who was first introduced in "Resident Evil 2."  "Damnation" was awarded by the International 3D Society of Japan for Animation. By the looks of it, "Resident Evil Vendetta" is going to be a much bigger hit than its predecessors.
