'Grey's Anatomy' Actress Ellen Pompeo Is A Mother For The Third Time, Actress And Husband Welcome Baby Boy

Third time's the charm! "Grey's Anatomy" actress Ellen Pompeo is now a mother for the third time as she and her husband have welcomed a baby boy.

The actress took to Instagram to post a photo of her husband, Chris Ivery, and their newborn baby boy, Eli Christopher. In the snap, the father and son were in bed and Eli Christopher lied down on his father's chest. Ivery's eyes were closed and was smiling as well as Eli Christopher. In the caption, Pompeo wrote, "Eli Christopher. Chris Ivery just fell a notch.. I've got a new guy."

Eli Christopher was first seen via paparazzi photos when the actress and her husband went hiking with their daughter, seven-year-old Stella Luna. An unidentified baby was also seen with them and it was confirmed that the baby with them during that time is Eli Christopher. In the paparazzi photo, Eli Christopher was seen swaddled up close to his father, USA Today reported.

The hike was at the Los Feliz area on Wednesday but they did not confirm that the baby with them is Eli Christopher. Many assumed that the baby photographed with them is Pompeo and Ivery's third baby since she has posted about the new member of the family for the first time earlier this week.

Entertainment Weekly also reported that the family is doing great after Eli Christopher came to their lives. Ivery and Pompeo also share a two-year-old daughter named Sienna. She was welcomed to the world in 2014 via a surrogate mother. Sienna's arrival was announced only two months after she was born so Eli Christopher's arrival was not as surprising to many fans.

Last year, the "Grey's Anatomy" star said that there was an adjustment for Stella Luna when Sienna arrived. Pompeo was on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and said that Stella Luna liked Sienna at first but after three months, her eldest daughter asked her mother if Sienna will be leaving.
