'Paterson' Is Critically Acclaimed, Proves That Simplicity Can Make One Film The Best [DETAILS HERE]

People find inspirations sometimes in the most mundane of things. People travel to most scenic of spots to be artistic and some choose to observe day-to-day occurrences to get the much-needed inspiration. This is how the movie "Paterson" goes.

The movie "Paterson" is one that provides a classic example that simplicity is the best. More often than not, the story is what's most important more than the visual effects of the movie. Some prefer action while others prefer the movie being simple but not sacrificing the element of drama and other emotions.

According to Movie Insider, the movie "Paterson" is about a guy aptly named Paterson from the city of Paterson in New Jersey. He is a simple bus driver and a poet. However, he doesn't need to take a break and go somewhere to write his artistic poems. His inspiration is from the conversation he hears from passengers as he does his job.

He also has an artistic wife played by Golshifteh Farahani, but unlike him, she gets different ideas as she literally dreams about it every night. "Paterson" follows a predictable routine from doing his job as a bus driver, to walking his dog, and going to his favorite bar ordering just one bottle of beer.

The movie "Paterson" premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. The premiere garnered the director and writer Jim Jarmusch some of the greatest reviews of his career.

As added by Rotten Tomatoes, the movie "Paterson" garnered an impressive score of 95 percent with 8.6 points out a possible 10. There were 117 reviews counted for this rating.

Top Critic Peter Travers of Rolling Stone said that Adam Driver gives his loveliest, most lyrical performance in this Jim Jarmusch film. Bilge Ebiri of Village Voice said that with each step, the movie "Paterson" gains depth. Small variations in routine start to feel monumental and the briefest encounter can seem like a sign of something great.
