'The Good Place' Season 2 Only Has Four Episodes Only, Ratings Is The Most Probable Reason? [DETAILS HERE]

The series "The Good Place" have received good reviews since it first aired this year. It is one series that provides a different twist to the story of death and what happens after. The series is considered fresh and unique in this aspect, however, it is somehow puzzling why "The Good Place" Season 2 only has four episodes.

According to TV Line, network sitcoms run 22 or more episodes but Michael Schur (creator and Executive Producer) thinks that "The Good Place" Season 2 may not fit that mold. He continued on by describing the series as "you can do as many as you want" kind of show.

The series "The Good Place" Season 2 and even the first are tightly plotted. Also, the show's cast headlined by Kristen Bell also agreed to a shortened season.

"The Good Place" Season 2 will also have the same length as the first. However, it will have a long break before the second season begins. It is set to air and debut before Sept. 2017, having an eight-month break in between episodes at least.

TV ratings of the series "The Good Place" has nothing to do with the second season only having four episodes. "The Good Place" has seen the erratic movement as the first season was aired. Different demographics responded differently to the comedy series.

"The Good Place" Season 2 may begin with the monk, played by Manny Jacinto finally admitting to his soul mate played by Jameela Jamil that he is also not supposed to be there just like the role of Kristen Bell. This is how the first season ended with his soul mate finally discovering that his meditation room is actually what he calls a "budhole."

As added by Rotten Tomatoes, the series "The Good Place" received 89 percent with 83 percent of the audience saying they liked it. It is expected that "The Good Place" Season 2 may have higher marks for its new twists.
