Ciara Pregnancy 2017: What Has She Learned From Motherhood So Far? Singer Hints Second Baby's Gender

There are some struggles to being pregnant while raising a toddler but music artist Ciara seems to manage this well. The 31-year-old mom to 2-year-old son Future Zahir is expecting her second baby's arrival soon. What has she learned from motherhood so far?

Ciara told Parents when her first-born child was a year old she has learned to go with the flow as a mother. Having a baby changed her life but she has also learned to make better decisions because she knows this would affect her child.

Ciara also learned to become a more adventurous eater to set an example for Future. "I want him to try things, but not too much! I'm a bit of a picky eater myself so I don't want him to pick that up," Ciara said, per Romper. "So whatever he tries, mom tries too!"

Meanwhile, the singer and her ex-partner, music artist Future, have recently come to an agreement regarding the custody of their son in January. Following a nasty battle in court, the parents have decided on a joint custody but their son will be staying with his mother when the rapper is on tour, TMZ reported.

In October 2016, Ciara and husband, football star Russell Wilson, announced they were expecting their first child together after three months of marriage. According to Entertainment Tonight, the singer might have recently hinted that their baby is going to be another boy.

Ciara apparently posted a photo of her full baby bump on Instagram. She captioned this with "Blue is one of my favorite colors," which many of her followers took to mean as a reference to the baby's gender.

Ciara has had a roller-coaster ride in the last few years. She gave birth to her first child but separated from the boy's father after a few months. She met a new man whom she would soon marry and now, they're preparing for their baby's birth. She also recently signed up with Warner Bros for another record deal, Billboard reported.
