Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Make Co-Parenting Work; Ex-Couple Spotted Sharing Parenting Duties [VIDEO]

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner recently showed they remain a great co-parenting team despite their long separation. They were once again spotted sharing parenting duties when they spent the weekend with their kids.

Garner took Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5, to church last Sunday, April 9, in Los Angeles and her ex-husband also joined the family. Celebrity Baby Scoop reported the family held hands after the church service.

Affleck then took Violet to the 11-year-old's karate class and Garner went home with the other kids. As per Daily Mail, the father-and-daughter pair appeared to enjoy this bonding time with just the two of them.

Earlier that same weekend, Affleck spent time bonding with Seraphina during her soccer game, according to another Daily Mail report. Garner, on the other hand, was with a gal pal across the other side of town.

Since announcing their split in June 2015, Affleck and Garner managed to maintain a good relationship as co-parents. This arrangement often became the fodder for rumors that the two are getting back together, especially after stories surfaced they're holding off their divorce.

Their representatives, however, continue to deny the reconciliation stories. They claim Affleck and Garner are no longer romantically linked but are often seen together because they are making co-parenting work.

In March, Affleck revealed he underwent treatment for alcohol addiction. He specifically mentioned Garner as his co-parent in his public message. "[Jennifer] has supported me and cared for our kids as I've done the work I set out to do," Affleck wrote on his Facebook post.

Observers say Affleck is making huge efforts to get his life back on track. Whether this includes fixing his marriage to Garner, it's still up in the air. What's definite for now, however, is that Affleck and Garner look happier and content as co-parents.
