NBA Trade Rumors: Charlotte Hornets Gets Jahlil Okafor, Jeremy Lamb Going To Philadelphia 76ers

It looks like Jeremy Lamb will no longer play for the Charlotte Hornets as he will be traded for Jahlil Okafor. Rumors are indicating that it is not just Jeremy Lamb who will be traded soon but two more players who may be free agents soon will move to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Okafor and two more players.

It is highly known that Jahlil Okafor has simply been disregarded on his first year in the NBA and the Philadelphia 76ers may have more capable men that they may not need Okafor as much as he should be needed. So when the 76ers placed Okafor together with Nerlens Noel on the trading block, it seems that this could still work to the advantage of Okafor.

While the Hornets may have almost completed their roster but they still have more room for Jahlil Okafor if they want to take advantage of this big man. According to Yahoo Sports, the Sixers are still thinking whether to take Noel or Okafor but they eventually get one of them in a possible exchange with Jeremy Lamb.

While the Hornets will still need to develop their team and it may take years before they are able to get the NBA championship but there is also a good chance that by adding Okafor to their team that they can stand a good chance with the other teams, Sports Rageous reported.

Getting Jahlil Okafor, on the other hand, will not be easy as the Philadelphia 76ers already stated their need for some shooting guards that will help in spreading the floor for them which is why Jeremy Lamb is the best choice for a trade.

Jeremy Lamb will be effectively able to help the 76ers to run their offense for them. However, it is still unclear whether the Hornets will trade Jeremy Lamb for Jahllil Okafor at this time.

For Hornets to move forward, the team must show aggressiveness in choosing the best and suitable players that they can get at this time and a possible trade between Lamb and Okafor can be their saving grace.
