 Interspersed into the clip is Ivar The Boneless in "Vikings Season 4" Part 2 remaining loyal to Ragnar Lothbrok in the face of his brothers' hatred for the Kattegat ruler. The return of Ragnar Lothbrok in "Vikings Season 4" Part 1 is the beginning of major changes for Ivar The Boneless.

Alex Hogh Andersen explained that the ambitions of Ivar The Boneless were honed and encouraged by Ragnar Lothbrok. From a lonely teenager, Ivar The Boneless found direction into becoming the Viking that he wanted to become not just in Kattegat but in the bigger world.

In the same interview, History series creator Michael Hirst previewed the Ivar The Boneless that will take center stage in "Vikings Season 5." To be sure, Parent Herald cites Travis Fimmel in revealing that Ragnar Lothbrok will continue on in "Vikings Season 5.

However, the focus will shift in "Vikings Season 5" from Ragnar Lothbrok and his generation onto Ivar The Boneless and his brothers. Interestingly, Michael Hirst highlighted that Ivar The Boneless possesses pathological cruelty and a natural ability for military strategy.
