'Real Housewives Of Orange County' Cast Latest News: 'RHOC' Star Meghan King Edmonds, Husband Jim Edmonds Welcome Baby Girl On Thanksgiving

"Real Housewives of Orange County" star, Meghan King Edmonds, had one more reason to be thankful for this year. The Bravo reality beauty gave birth to a bouncing baby girl, her first child with husband, former baseball player Jim Edmonds.

Daily Mail reports that the 32-year-old mom first announced the good news through an Instagram snap. Meghan King Edmonds uploaded a photo of her dog, Girly Girl, and a note from the teacup Goldendoodle that says "Happy Thanksgiving mommy! I can't wait to meet my new sister!"

The first-time mom recently released a photo of her newborn daughter, and according to her, she is a "mini Jimmy." Also, she expressed how thrilled she and her husband are, saying that their "hearts are exploding."


Prior to giving birth, the couple joked in "RHOC" that they will name their child after fellow stars in "Real Housewives of Orange County." Names included Vicki after Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks after Brooks Ayers. Baby girl of the "Real Housewife of Orange County" and former baseball star is a product of in-vitro fertilization. Per US Weekly, "RHOC" chronicled the couple's struggle in conceiving a baby. Meghan King Edmond's first-born is originally due Dec. 5.

Luckily, Jim Edmonds had hit homerun and now, they are blessed with a new bundle of joy. While this is the first child of the “RHOC” star, the couple’s baby girl is Jim Edmond’s fifth as he had other children in two previous marriages.

During the Bravo star’s baby shower, which had a rustic chic-inspired theme, she already expressed how excited she was for the coming of her first-born. Just like a slew of Hollywood stars, the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star said she is looking forward to breastfeed her daughter. "I'm not nervous or scared except that I really want to breastfeed, and I hope it works out OK," the Bravo reality star said.
