‘The X-Factor UK’ News: Matt Terry Won; Louis Walsh In A Losing Controversy?

The recently concluded finals of "The X-Factor UK" season 13 has hailed Matt Terry as the ultimate winner for 2016. On another note, judge Louis Walsh is now facing a losing controversy.

Season 13 of "The X-Factor UK" has concluded with Matt Terry being announced as the final winner. Matt sang "You Don't Own Me" by Grace on the first week of the finals, while "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye was his piece on finals week 2. Matt then sang "I'll Be There" by Mariah Carey on finals week 3 and "I Put A Spell On You" by Nina Simone the following week. For Matt's winning pieces, he sang "Writings On The Wall" and "When Christmas Comes Around."

Weekly charts prove that Matt has won the over-all tally of votes for the whole season 13 of "The X-Factor UK." Since the beginning of the contest, Matt has been conceived to be the winning contestant because he obviously possesses the x-factor, from his looks to his great talent.

According to Telegraph UK, aside from Matt Terry's x-factor, he also knows how to attract votes. As evident on his social media accounts, Matt appeals to the younger fans, which comprise the majority of the voting viewers.

Meanwhile, it seems that "The X-Factor UK" judge Louis Walsh is now at the losing end as he is currently at the center of controversy. Walsh has made a comment about former judge Cheryl Cole, which allegedly enraged One Direction member Liam Payne, Cole's beau and father of the baby she is currently pregnant with.

Apparently, Walsh's comment pushed Payne to give out a remark telling the former to just put all his efforts on rebuilding his 5 After Midnight band, instead of blabber mouthing against the latter's girlfriend. In return, Walsh tried to appease the heated controversy by releasing nice statements about Payne and Cole. Walsh expressed his well wishes for Payne and Cole for their upcoming baby and emphasized that Cole deserves to be happy, Cartermatt reported.
