After turning 18, the aspiring artists left the foster home where she grew up after connecting to an online friend, Alexandra which can help bring her vision of success to fruition.

Alexandra chose to keep it a secret that she is actually the wealthy daughter of a legendary rock star. Star also went to fetch her sister Simone from another foster home. While waiting for their big break, the three girls will be under the care of Carlotta (Queen Latifah) who is salon owner with a gay daughter, Cotton.

Determined to find a manager for their girl group, Star went to a strip club and performed after Jahil Rivera (Bratt). In an effort to show Jahil what their group can offer, this episode will show the trio performed an impressive number.
