Six-Year-Old Girl Raises Money to Help and Feed the Homeless in Missouri

Paris Williams is a young girl from Missouri who created a non-profit organization that aims to feed the homeless.

The six-year-old girl is full of aspirations to help those who are in need. She sells T-shirts and facemasks to gather funds for her foundation.

Paris and her family have already given away more than 500 care packages in their community.

The inspiration behind the young girl's foundation

One of Paris' favorite books is "One Boy's Magic" by Cari Chadwick Deal.

According to her mom, Alice Marshall, Paris reads books about giving at school. One day, Paris came home and told her mom, "I want to give back to the homeless. What can we do to help the homeless?"

After that, they thought of making care packages that they could give away.

Creating the care packages

The care packages that Paris Cares Foundation makes are filled with food, drinks, and other essential items. They give these away to the homeless at Downtown St. Louis in Missouri.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, they give away the care packages through non-contact drop-offs.

Paris' parents are the ones who put up the care packages. However, Paris personalizes these care packages with drawings and notes.
