A Michigan dad wins two lotteries within three years. He claims he has a lucky coin.

Mark Clark won the lottery in 2017, and recently, he won another four million US Dollars.

When Clark won the lottery in 2017, he chose to take the lump sum of 2.5 million US Dollars. When he got the money, Clark retired from his previous job.

The Michigan dad chose to spend his freedom going fishing with his dad and his son. In 2019, his father died, which only proved that the time they spent together fishing was beneficial.

He said in an article from the Michigan Lottery Connect, " I retired from my job and spent a lot of time fishing. My dad and I always used to fish together and have great memories of that, so this will help me keep fishing and enjoying time with my son and family."

Even after winning the lottery in 2017, Clark continued to play the lottery on occasion.

When trying his luck at the lottery, Clark would use his father's lucky coin. This lucky coin was given to Clark by his father a decade ago. He said, "We lost him about a year ago after some health struggles, and I can't help but think maybe that lucky coin helped me win this."

Just recently, the Michigan dad used this coin to scratch off the ticket that made him win the lottery for the second time.

Clark won another four million US Dollars.

When Clark collected his prize, he chose to get the lump sum of 2.5 million US Dollars, rather than the annuity payments in the full amount.

Clark shared that he never expected he would win again, "It's hard to put into words exactly what I am feeling." He also shared that winning for the second time was a different kind of experience for him, "You don't think you'll win millions once, and you definitely never think it would happen twice."

In the past years, Clark said that he had to face a lot of challenges, however winning the lottery for the second time made him feel amazing.
