Tiktok Mom Reveals Christmas Gift Wrap Hacks [VIRAL VIDEOS]

A TikTok mom revealed some of the best gift wrapping hacks.

During the Holiday season, one of the most time-consuming things to do is wrapping gifts. It becomes frustrating when the gift wrapper is not enough. Also, making everything look creative is a challenge.

This TikTok mom offers hacks to other moms. She says that it is the box orientation that works as a key to the some of the gift wrapping hacks.

The mistake in gift wrapping

According to an article from HITC, one of the most common mistakes in gift wrapping is cutting the paper and then discovering that a big part of the gift is peeking.

Usually, this mistake is patched up, quite literally by most. What happens is that a separate piece of the wrapper is cut out to cover that certain area. Because a gift wrapper has its unique pattern, the gift wrap ends up becoming less neat.

The Christmas gift wrapping hack (for box-shaped gifts)

The TikTok mom, @lindsayroggenbuck, shared a series of gift wrapping hacks. In one of her most viewed videos, she shared how you can avoid the common gift wrapping mistake.

When wrapping box-shaped gifts, she suggested that the gift be put at a diagonal angle so that the wrapping paper will be enough.

This way, there will be no need for an extra gift wrapper.

The other hacks

As of writing, Lindsay has seven gift wrapping hacks on her TikTok account. All of these hacks cover wrapping irregularly shaped gifts, wine bottles, or creatively wrapping money. In wrapping oddly-shaped gifts, the TikTok mom suggested that to create a paper bag out of the gift wrapper. She even suggested that the bag should have its handle with the use of ribbons.

In another hack that she shared, the TikTok mom showed how one could avoid using tape or staples in sealing gifts using an actual paper bag. What she only did was poke through the holes of the paper bag.

  In another video, she showed how wrapping a bottle of wine can still be creative despite its shape. She even added an accessory to the gift wrap to kick it up a notch.

Aside from all of these gift wrapping ideas that use a paper bag or the wrapper, the TikTok mom also shared a recycled way of wrapping gifts, specifically money.

She used a tissue paper roll in doing so.
