Children are adorable beings that never fail to make their parents and adults smile. They love copying what their parents and older siblings do and say. But since they are still learning, they sometimes say the words the way they hear it. 

Sometimes, they also make up names for what they believe is the best description of the things around them. HuffPost Parents Facebook members share hilarious names kids call things that would surely make you laugh. 

Describe things

Alice T. Stephenson's son called Target "the circle and the dot store," which they took so long to figure out. Sara Hatch would never forget when her youngest told her she had many "nipples" all over her face. Turns out, her child meant she had many freckles.

Brittany Vincent's son loves "gardening," which meant playing in the dirt outside their house. A daughter called her brother's private part "tentacles" after he has hurt them. Her mom, Kara Sherrill Gamba, was glad they did not correct her because she told everyone in preschool about the incident.

Saundrice Thompson shared that her five-year-old loves having "Happy Donald's" for dinner every time. Because of that, the family has called McDonald's "Happy Donald's." The four-year-old daughter of Heather Brenneman likes to jump on her bed and scream "cannibals." She explained to her child that it should be cannonball, but the kid still does not believe her. 

Becki Harrington-Davis has a three-year old that says "zigaboo" when she refers to a gazebo. On the other hand, one of Joree Mason Morris's kids says "vanilla bars" when she means granola bars.

Lemon poppyseed muffins are "freckled muffins" according to Liz Krause's three-year-old, while Katie Groome's daughter calls cupcakes "cup capes." The boys of Jessica Shook Jarrett Boros say "snickey bars" when they want Snickers, and say "chocolate muffins" when they find Reese's. 

Joni Croce Bussoli brought her child to watch Shamu at SeaWorld so that her kid could see "Shampoo" upfront. Nikki Lee learned how her car should be called from her son, who was around two or three then. She and her husband now call Subaru "the Moopatoo." 

New food names

Pistachios are called "Picasso nuts" as told by Rasee Govindani's child. Jenelle Hardin's kiddo refers to Turkey lunch meat as "white ham." According to Rebecca Weaver's son, Rice Krispies Treats are called "Krispie Ipsie Treats."

Jennifer Allanson Rock's son referred to his wrists as "hankles," which meant "hand ankles." The child also described mint-flavored toothpaste as "spicy toothpaste." Tracy Luehrs' son is very ticklish and loves being tickled not only in his armpit, but also in his "knee-pit" and "chin-pit." 

When it is cold, Phillip Crosby's youngest daughter wants to wear "warmleggers." Kristen Piccirillo refers to a fly swatter as "bug slapper." 

Marie Zullo's boys asks for a "hang-a-burger" when they want hamburger, and "olglanolgal bar" when they want a granola bar. She also shared that they would say "wood cream" when they want whipped cream.
