Family Time: Elon Musk & Son in Texas Before Baby's First Birthday

Elon Musk's son X Æ A-Xii is celebrating his first birthday on May 1. Meanwhile, the family is in Texas, where the CEO of Tesla Motors is reportedly keen on developing into a city. With that, the multi-billionaire also announced the name he is planning for the new town.

Grimes, the investor, and his partner share photos of their son X Æ A-Xii since his birth. Grimes has been sharing moments like when X (for short) had his first cut by mom. The amount was inspired by the historical drama TV show "The Last Kingdom," which is about the Great Heathen Army's arrival in Britain in 866 A.D.

Their latest photo brings the entire family together for an important announcement. Their son "X" is busy with some flowers in the image as the parents look on. Musk took to Twitter to share the photo, which was captioned, "Starbase, Texas." It is located in a town along the Gulf Coast of Texas where Musk plans to create the new city, People reported.

Starbase, Texas

The business magnate is set to develop the unincorporated Boca Chica Village in Cameron County. Musk built his company SpaceX in the town. This is where his team has been developing and launching the prototypes of their spacecraft, Starship. Musk is said to form the city around the launch facilities of Space X. However, it is expected that the new town, Starbase, would cover an even larger area than just Boca Chica.

Meanwhile, Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino noted that Musk and his company SpaceX would be required to abide by all state incorporation statutes should they decide to pursue this path officially, Business Insider reported. Further, Judge Trevino said that Cameron County would only process appropriate petitions that conform to the applicable law. Elon Musk Family Relocates to Texas

Even before the announcement, Musk has already started relocating his family to Texas. His partner Grimes whose real name is Claire Boucher, confirmed on Twitter that she is now living in Austin, Texas. Musk previously announced his plans to move to Texas after sparring with California regulators at the pandemic's onset.

From there, he started selling his properties in L.A., while his other real estate in Los Angeles has also been listed. The conglomerate also moved his charitable foundation from California to Texas. Musk is currently busy developing the Starship rocket in SpaceX located in South Texas. He is also frequently in Austin, where his company Tesla is set to build a billion-dollar factory to manufacture the Cybertruck. In other news, Musk also recently took to Instagram to share a throwback photo with his younger sister, Tosca Musk, when the latter was just a baby. Today, Toska runs Passionflix, the streaming service which hosts movies adapted from romance novels, The Sun UK noted. Elon Musk's sibling has also been producing films. She remains unmarried and is the mother of twins Grayson and Isabeau.
