Kanye West Wants Family Back Together, Prays for a Reconciliation With Kim Kardashian

Kanye West has reflected on the state of his marriage to Kim Kardashian. On Thanksgiving Day, the rapper shared a prayer of reconciliation with his ex-wife after also talking about wanting his family back.

In a post on Instagram, West revealed that he made mistakes and disappointed his wife of six years. He said that he now sees that Kardashian was only trying to protect him and their four kids when he made them the target of his political stance. West was a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Before sharing the five-minute prayer on his Instagram, West also shared that he "needs to be back home" during a Thanksgiving concert in Los Angeles. The 44-year-old father of four told the audience that he had done things that "were not acceptable as a husband," but he's making an effort to change.

Separation is Not OK

The rapper, who has made headlines for his controversial rants in public, indicated that a separation is not OK with families. So, he's working on patching up his marriage to set an example for millions of people who could be "influenced to see that they can overcome the work of the separation." 

West preached that the devil has been using and capitalizing on the misery of people. As someone who professes his religious faith, the father said that the priest of his home should be with his kids as often as possible.

The rapper shares North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, with Kardashian. According to sources close to Kardashian, she filed for divorce and joint custody of their kids in February 2021 after a huge fight in December 2020. West "blew up" in anger at his wife, and the couple has "never healed" from this fight. However, in a YouTube show in October, West said that he did not see any divorce papers, so he cannot be divorced from his wife.

Kardashian also broke down and spoke about her marriage in the August finale of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." She told one of her sisters, Khloe, that she and her husband are just rolling with what's happening in their marriage, but she cannot be stuck in this situation for the long haul. 

Kim Kardashian Dating Pete Davidson

Sources have confirmed that Kardashian has started dating "Saturday Night Live" actor Pete Davidson. They have been seen out together in recent weeks, with their latest outing at Disneyland for Halloween.

Kardashian and Davidson are said to be taking things slow, especially because they live in different parts of the U.S. Davidson is mostly based in New York because of his work on the TV show, while Kardashian is in Los Angeles with her children. The distance makes it harder for the pair to get into anything serious at this point in their relationship.

Friends of the reality TV star support her relationship with Davidson because he is a "funny guy." Since rumors of her new romance, West has been uploading photos of him and his wife on his Instagram.
