Paris Hilton Hopes Her Future Daughter Will Be a Nerd, Not an Influencer

Paris Hilton hopes that her future daughter won't grow up to become a social media influencer who will spend less time on her phone because the rest of her life is so much fun.

In the documentary "Paris in Love," the former reality TV star said that social media popularity would be the last thing she'd wish for any of her children. She added that while there are good and bad things about being an influencer, it's still a toxic life.

Hilton, who has 17 million Instagram followers, expressed that an influencer's life is centered on perfection, and they also have to deal with the rude comments from the followers. She said she didn't want this kind of experience for her daughter.

"If she does want to do it, she can," Hilton told Insider. "But I would rather her just be a nerd who wants to be a scientist or something."

Paris Hilton's IVF

Hilton married Carter Reum in November 2021 after two years of dating. The couple had planned on having kids before they tied the knot. In the podcast show "The Trend Reporter with Mara," Hilton revealed that she and Reum had started the IVF process so she could have children via surrogacy.

She said her friend, Kim Kardashian, convinced her to try this process after having two children via surrogacy herself. Kardashian also introduced Hilton to her IVF doctor.

The social media star, who is in her 40s, said that going through the IVF process "a couple of times" was tough, but she was happy to have Reum as her supportive partner. She said that her husband always makes an effort to make her feel like a "princess all the time" that the tough times do not seem so bad anymore.

Hilton said she wants to have twins with IVF and can't wait to start with the next chapter of her life with her husband. She professes that having kids will make her life more meaningful and even more so because she has a husband who has the same goals.

In another podcast interview, Hilton said she would pick out "London" as the name for her daughter, but she is still choosing a name for a boy. She insisted that she was not going for theme cities, but the name London feels right for her.

Carter Reum is a Dad

Shortly after their wedding, Page Six reported that Reum has a nine-year-old love child with Laura Bellizi of "Secrets of Aspen." Sources confirmed that he and the girl do not have a traditional dad and daughter relationship, but he has supported her since her birth.

Reum had signed paternity documents acknowledging his daughter when he started dating Hilton. Sources also claimed that since Reum's high-profile relationship with Hilton, his daughter has been "triggered" and "felt left out" of his life, especially after learning that Reum wants to start a family with Hilton.

The girl is at a crucial age of discovering self-identity and is longing for her paternal family's acceptance. The source also stated that the nine-year-old loves her father and his other family. It's unclear if she has met Hilton in person, but the girl lives with her mother in California, where Reum and Hilton are also based.
