'Kingdom Hearts 3' Trailer & Release Date: Gameplay News Coming At November D23 2015 -- Characters & What To Expect

Fans of the upcoming action role-playing video game, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will surely be delighted with this news. According to reports, more information about the anticipated game will be revealed in the upcoming D23 event next month.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tetsuya Nomura confirmed that new details about the title will be released at the D23 event, which is scheduled on November, Gaming Bolt has learned. So, it will not take long and soon, we will learn more about its gameplay.

A post from D23.com revealed that there will be a "Kingdom Hearts" event for Japan's D23 event this Nov. 3. No guests or other information was released along with the announcement, but fans are hoping to see more of "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the said event.

An excerpt from the press release goes "To celebrate D23 Expo 2015 Japan, a Kingdom Hearts fan event will be held on November 3 at Cinema Ikspiari, Tokyo Disney Resort. Program information for the event, Kingdom Hearts-The Theater (working title), will be posted on the official Disney website starting in late April."

Aside from the upcoming event, fans are looking forward to know if there will be returning or new characters. In an interview with Nomura, the director teases that the fate of the characters fans care about has already been established, Kingdom Hearts Insider reports.

"As for the paths of various characters that fans care about, it has already been determined. The scenario was also determined in Kingdom Hearts 3D," Nomura said. "Especially 'which characters would come back' and 'who are the 7 lights and 13 darknesses' have been decided. Don't worry, they will play a huge part."

For those wondering who in particular will be joining or returning in the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3" there are no confirmation yet. However, according to Daily Sun, Square Enix has already expressed their interest in adding new characters in the title which includes Elsa from the popular musical fantasy film "Frozen," Darth Vader from the galaxy far, far away "Star Wars" and Iron Man himself.

The report suggests that it is not confirmed yet. There are also speculations that Snow White and the seven dwarves will be coming to "Kingdom Hearts 3" along with Peter Pan, Mulan, Hunch Back of Notre Dame, Lion King, and "Pirate of the Carribean's" Captain Jack Sparrow.

For fans who wanted to learn more about the title's world, Nomura confirmed that Disney titles such as "Tangled" and "Hercules" will be included. Another familiar series, Twilight Town is another world. The director also revealed that Mt. Olympus will be a new world in the title.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sometime next year.
