'Tekken 7' PS4, PC, Xbox One Release: Plot Line Revealed, Gameplay Title Launching Early 2016? Expect New Game Modes, Guest Characters [Rumor Round Up]

There is no doubt that among the anticipated video game is the next series of "Tekken." Gamers have been drooling to have their hands on "Tekken 7" but up to now, there is no official release date for the upcoming title yet. However, the hype about the game is growing intense and a lot of rumors about it are making headlines online.

New reports claimed that "Tekken 7" will have an early release date for PS4 and Xbox One consoles. During the Paris Games Week, it was announced that the title will be released sometime next year per Yibada. For those wondering when next year, then you will be delighted because it might arrive earlier.

The report suggested that Bandai Namco is planning on developing the second crossover title, "Tekken X Street Fighter." However, the team recognized the need to establish "Tekken 7" for the new gamers as a long-established franchise, according to Christian Today.

With this in mind, they have to be ahead in the competition. Techno Buffalo predicted that "Tekken 7's" release date will be close to Capcom's "Street Fighter V," which is scheduled for release on Feb. 16, 2016, suggesting that the title might be out in the first quarter of 2016. Bandai Namco's latest "Tekken" franchise is a huge success on the arcade scene in Japan and, hopefully, worldwide. There is really no need for Bandai Namco to give Capcom a head start, but if they want it, of course, they can do so.

"Tekken 7" has 27 playable characters, 19 are returning characters while eight are brand new, Gaming Bolt has learned. The new characters include Katarina Alves, Claudio Serafino, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Jose Rizal, Gigas, Jack-7 and Kazumi Mishima.

The returning characters include Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima and Paul Phoenix to name a few. Parent Herald previously reported that Kuma, Nina and Anna will return in "Tekken 7" as well, but there is no confirmation from Bandai Namco about these characters yet.

In a separate report from Parent Herald, "Tekken 7" will also be the culmination of the "Tekken" series which started 20 years ago. The upcoming title is set to feature the conclusion of the Mishima clan saga. Moreover, it will come with new game modes and several enhancements to make it a bit more different from the arcade version.

"Tekken 6" was released eight years ago,  fans have been anticipating for the arrival of "Tekken 7" since then. Do you believe that the title will be released early this year? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
