Alyssa Milano Interview: How The Hollywood Actress Views Parenting, Baby Weight And Breastfeeding

Hollywood Actress Alyssa Milano recently gave an insightful interview about her parenting style, how she is able to manage her schedule between work and parenting, her reaction to gaining baby weight, and why she wants breastfeeding for all mothers.

The actress told Yahoo Parenting about the difficulty of managing her time as an actress and as a mom, "It's hard to juggle everything. Every day is a process and a balancing act, but I try to take every day as it comes. My schedule is sporadic, which is good because it allows me some real quality time with my kids."

Milano also revealed that she has a hands-on parenting style and likes spending time with her kids, "We still have the biological urge to be with our kids, and to know that the guilt is coming from some place biological, it helps."

The actress also expressed that she does not mind the media's focus on her post-baby body, "I've had weight fluctuations my whole existence, so I'm just trying to stay healthy, trying to have the endurance to get through the day as a mom of two and not be too sleepy."

Milano also made news when she posted pictures online of herself breastfeeding her child. She defended breastfeeding in public when she spoke to ET, "I think people are more comfortable sexualizing breasts than relating them to what they were made for, which is feeding another human."

The Hollywood actress might have achieved a lot throughout her career, but the interview shows that Alyssa Milano is more focused on parenting, not caring about baby weight, and making sure to give proper breastfeeding to her children so that they can be healthy, "That's not to say I do it perfectly every day - every day is process - but as long as I'm focused on raising two good people, the rest is kind of secondary and has less importance."
