Blue Ivy Carter's Birthday: How Beyoncé and Jay Z Celebrated Their Daughter's 4th Birthday

Beyoncé and Jay Z's bundle of joy celebrated her 4^th birthday with a fairy-themed bash. The celebration was held on a private residence on Saturday, Jan.9, two days after she turned four. Although, the celebration seemed low-key, still, it was perfect as it was attended by fewer guests, including celebrities who are close to the family.

According to E! News, the party was surrounded with balloons and Blue Ivy's parents also hired an entertainer who kept the fun and glee among the kids -- having a blast with balloon animals. There were also areas for children where they enjoyed playing LEGOs, Play-Doh and dolls. The table was also an enticing sight as it is where the big birthday cake was placed, ice cream and lots of mouthwatering foods.

Hence, while the youngsters played away during the celebration, Bey and her music mogul husband reportedly were enjoying each other's company and "acting affectionate towards one another."

Some of the famous people who helped Beyoncé's daughter marked her big day were former Destiny's Child Kelly Rowland and Coldplay member Chris Martin. Their daughter is indeed one lucky kid -- reared by loving parents and surrounded by great people.

Ever since, the music icons' daughter has already had her fair share of lavish parties. On Blue Ivy's first birthday, the powerful couple reportedly spent $80,000 on a diamond-encrusted Barbie doll, as reported by the Sun. In addition to previous grandiose party, her parents also reportedly forked $30, 000 on costumes, toys and many others for her princess-themed party in New York as well as some huge $95,000 for the roses.

"Nothing's been too big or expensive for their little princess," an insider told the Sun. "They wanted her first birthday to set the tone for the rest of her life. They work hard for their money and the first thing they want to spend it on is their baby girl."

For her second birthday bash, her parents rented out a local zoo in Miami. Likewise, Blue Ivy's third birthday was an affair to remember as Bey and Jay threw a Frozen-themed bash to make it more special.
