"Girl Meets World" writers recently revealed on Twitter that they had their first table-read for Season 3.

"Season Three. First table today. Girl Meets High School Part One. Welcome back everybody. We're ready," the writers wrote.

Aside from seeing Lucas (Peyton Meyer), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Riley (Rowan Blanchard), and their friends enter the exciting world of high school, many fans are excitedly anticipating for answers surrounding the show's love triangle.

Many fans were left hanging when "GMW" Season 2 aired an episode titled "Girl Meets the New Year," which showed Riley confess her feelings to Lucas. While several fans are already rooting for their respective teams in this love triangle, it looks like this plot will be placed on the back burner.

Does this mean Riley and Maya will choose to ignore their feelings for Lucas and instead focus on their friendship and high school?

It looks that way. In a recent report from Enstarz, it was revealed that the penultimate episode for "Girl Meets World" Season 2 will be an emotional one. The writers previously hinted that this episode is all about friendship.

"The Bay Window may be my favorite episode of the series so far. A wonderful look at growing up with a friend. Can't wait 'til you see it," the writers teased.

The publication noted that the writers also revealed in an earlier tweet that fans should have a box of tissue next to them when the penultimate episode airs on TV.
