Horrible Surrogate Mom Kept Baby Girl While Forcing Parents to Pay Child Support

A surrogate mom kept the baby girl from her real parents, and the latter was left paying for child support. The mom has been spending every single day thinking of the daughter whom they were deprived of.

Barbara and David planned to have one more child and opted for surrogacy. They were quite choosy when it comes to who the surrogate mom will be as they wanted someone who will be worthy to carry their baby.

Then came one fateful day when they met Jamie, whom they thought would be a good surrogate mom, as per Yahoo report. She was a vision of what a good mom would be, and Barbara and David, trusting what they saw with their eyes, agreed that Jamie becomes the surrogate mom.

After they had signed the contract, Jamie underwent the procedure and became pregnant. Communication between Barbara and Jamie was good at the outset, but as the months passed, she became more distant, withdrawn, and demanded that she only be called during nighttime.

The turning point, according to Perez Hilton, was that Barbara and David were not even informed when Jamie gave birth to their daughter. The couple was forced to hire a lawyer, and he said that Barbara and David should, "fulfill every part of our obligation of the contract so that if it ended up in court, we were the ones who didn't vacate the contract."

The baby girl, Kaylee Grace, was brought home by Jamie. After Kaylee Grace's birth, the couple didn't stop fighting for their right to "bring her home." However, their efforts have proved futile.

Initially, Barbara and David shared physical custody over Kaylee Grace, yet when the girl started kindergarten, even the physical custody was deprived of them. As of this writing, David has a shared legal custody with Jamie, the surrogate mom.

Barbara, on the other hand, can only treasure the little time that the girl spends with them, which is two weekends every month. Barbara said, "I've had to watch when that baby came into our life and watch her older sister cry when she had to leave."

While the surrogate mom may have won the initial round of the legal battle, Barbara and David have not given up on Kaylee Grace. They are still fighting for their daughter, hoping that one day, they will be able to bring her home.
