Teacher Berating Student Was Caught on Tape Saying Her Sole Purpose Is to Have Sex and Make Babies

A teacher berating his 16-year-old student was caught on tape. He said that her sole purpose was to have sex and make babies. He also referred to her the dumbest girl he's ever met.

Shaniaya Hunter, a junior at Greene County High School, has come forward after her teacher verbally assaulted her during a class. She was asking her teacher about who Sojourner Truth was, when out of nowhere, he launched into an "expletive-laden verbal attack," as what Shaniaya and her lawyer would like to call it.

In response to the question of Shaniaya, as Yahoo reported, it can be heard in the audio recording that her teacher, Cory Hunter (not related to Shaniaya), said, "You're the dumbest girl I have ever met in my life, and I have been around for 37 years and clearly, you are the dumbest girl that I have ever met."

His rant was followed by a sexual reference where he said, "You know what your purpose going to be? To have sex and have children, because you ain't gonna never be smart." Aside from these statements, Hunter also said, "You'll be a good housewife. Cult of domesticity, right here."

Cory's words were clearly recorded on Shaniaya's school-issued iPad, which she uses to help her with the lesson. She immediately uploaded the recording to Soundcloud, according to a report by Daily Mail.

Shaniaya and her mom reported what happened to the school district, but the school didn't seem to take any concrete action. This prompted lawyer, Ben Windham, to take Shaniaya's case pro bono so that serious action can be taken against the teacher.

Windham said, "This man does not need to be teaching young children. It's not a gray area. End of story." Cathy Wright, Shaniaya's mother said that they will "keep fighting until it's over."
