Beyonce's 'Formation' Tour Kicks Off

Diva Beyoncé kicked off her "Formation" World Tour on Wednesday at the Marlins Park in Miami. It was a show that looked back on her big hits in the past and highlighted her new tracks on the recently released visual album "Lemonade."

The New York Times noted that Beyonce hoped to start her 41-day world tour with a bang in Miami. She sang a couple of songs from the new album including "Sorry," "Don't Hurt Yourself," and "Daddy Lessons."

According to Pitchfork, her setlist included 37 songs beginning with her singles on "Formation." She began her show with nature scenes on the backdrop.

The same report said Beyonce had a grand entrance with smoke and a mirror image on the stage. "If you came to have a good time, say, 'I slay!'" she told the female-dominated crowd.

Aside from her new songs, there were also old-time favorites like "Crazy In Love," "Me, Myself and I" and "Halo." Prior to singing "Halo," E! said that Queen B dedicated the single to her husband Jay Z.

"I wanna dedicate this to my beautiful husband...I love you so much," the diva told Jay Z who was among the thousands who watched her concert live. Other celebrity supporters of the singer were Lil Wayne, Michelle Williams and Rick Ross.

Many considered Beyonce's message as the seal to all the rumors that she and Jay Z were having problems. There are people, however, who noticed that the couple was not anymore wearing their wedding rings.

In a similar report, Cosmopolitan said that the audience also noticed that Beyonce was singing on the stage barefoot with her hair sometimes wet with sweat because of an earlier performance. Many were emotional in the audience as Beyonce sang women empowerment songs that touched a lot of people.
