Teen's Beyonce-Inspired Prom Outfit Impresses Netizens
An 18-year-old wore a prom dress that as inspired by Beyonce's MET Gala outfit in 2015. She claimed that she looks up to Beyonce when it comes to fashion.
US Magazine said high school senior India Ross dished a poufy gown for a dress that looked so much like Beyonce's Givenchy Haute Couture gown which was adorned with multiple crystals. She noted that she had to ask local designer Toi Hall to hand place the more than 2,000 crystals in her mesh dress. Hall did the difficult task with the help of his brother.
She mentioned in the same report that she had to pay $800 for the entire dress but claimed that it was worth every penny because of the publicity she got. "This has been a true blessing. I never thought that taking pictures at my prom would just blow up overnight," Ross noted.
It was on her Instagram page where she first posted the snaps of her prom gown which captured the attention of the public and the media. Just like Beyonce's look, Ross also paired the gown with a blonde ponytail that had curls on its end.
According to Buzz Feed, the teenager is an incoming fashion business and fashion merchandising major in Columbia College. She starts school this fall and plans to have a minor in marketing and public relations.

With many people loving her innovative prom dress, a lot have asked if the "Lemonade" singer has reached out to her about it. Ross, however, said that she the diva has not yet contacted her but the teenager wanted to send a message to her fashion inspiration.
"I love you Beyoncé!" Ross said. "I wish I could meet you. And by the way, can I have the real Givenchy dress? I'm sure I could slay that one, too!"
