Red Hurt By The Betrayal In 'The Blacklist' Season 3

Red (James Spader) was emotionally beaten last season after dealing with Liz's (Megan Boone) faked death and later finding out that it was planned. Per Melty, he felt betrayed that Liz and Mr. Kaplan orchestrated everything without him. Things went awry when Alexander Kirk abducted Liz, Tom and their daughter.

In fact, in "The Blacklist" season 3 finale, Red had a gun to Mr. Kaplan's head. We know that the betrayal cuts him deep and we can't tell if things between the two will be the same again.

Red has been honest with Liz about their relationship. Despite developing a father-daughter relationship, both knew that they are not biologically connected. In the "The Blacklist" season 3 finale, Alexander Kirk dropped a bombshell, he is Liz's father.

Is Kirk telling the truth? Is he really Liz's father. "The Blacklist" executive producers Jon Bokenkamp revealed that it is likely that Red's nemesis is telling the truth. There will be more answers in "The Blacklist" Season 4.

Bokenkamp teased that there will be a big turn in the life of the characters in "The Blacklist" Season 4. Liz and Kirk's relationship will also give us a deeper understanding about Red and Liz's relationship.
