Side Effects Of Fad Diet In Australia Causes Hair Loss, Unexpected Pregnancy, Nausea and Leg Cramps

Australia's latest fad diet is getting some women into some crazy side effects. The diet known as the Cambridge Weight Plan, results to women having hair loss, stops menstruation, leg cramps, rash, nausea, coldness and worst of all unexpected pregnancy. The side effects mentioned are as what was stated in their website.

International Business Times, reported that even if the nutritionist have already named the healthiest diet people can find. People would still resort for fad diet. The product includes soups, shakes, porridge and chocolate bars. There have already been 1-0,000 Australians who have tried on this new diet.

Now, the government is investigation on it. They are questioning if the product this company sells can be sold in Australia legally. A released statement coming from the spokesman for Cambridge insists that the said diet is valid scientifically and is safe. He also added that the company has been under operation for 30 years now, and that those side effects mentioned do not last long.

According to their claim, it was in 2012 where two Greek-Australian introduced the said diet which is a result of a research in England back in the 1960's and 70's. Professor Allan Howard, invented the diet and he stated that the first three days of the diet is the worst. It had 6 stages, the first stage being the hardest at it makes the dieters lessen their calorie intake to 440 calories a day only.

The diet packet that Cambridge Company sells is for a price of £2.25 or $4.41 Australian dollars. The company did claim that they do not follow the international nutrition standards for their product as the food they sell is not meant for the purpose of medication.
