Parent Herald previously reported that George RR Martin returns sick from his Baltimore trip. The celebrity author announced his condition on his blog. This triggers the speculations that "The Winds of Winter" will further be delayed given that the New Mexican author might not be able to work on it.

However, according to the Bitbag, it is unlikely for "The Winds of Winter" to be delayed because George RR Martin is almost done with it. In fact, he is just wrapping up the final "TWOW" chapter.

George RR Martin has been generous in sharing free chapters for "The Winds of Winter" in the past month. In his recent trip, he also treats the participants with a free reading of the Aeron Greyjoy chapter.

Per the report, "The Winds of Winter" will be out soon. The long overdue book might be released at the end of the year.
