There is no other book as wanted as "The Winds of Winter" today. The hype for the book continues despite the long wait. According to "TWOW" news only a few characters will survive and George RR Martin discloses a huge plot difference between "Game of Thrones" and "A Song of Ice and Fire" series.

George RR Martin Reveals Huge Plot Difference Between 'GoT' And 'TWOW'

There is no doubt that many are torn between "The Winds of Winter" and "Game of Thrones" series. In fact, when the HBO's popular TV series return prior to the release of "The Winds of Winter" fans hesitate to watch "GoT" Season 6 due to fears that it might spoil the book.

However, George RR Martin told IGN earlier that there is a huge plot difference between the show and the novel. "It involves a dead character, one of whom is dead in the show but not dead in the books. So the show can't do this, unfortunately, because they have killed a character that I have not killed," Martin told the publication.

The "GoT" showrunner David Benioff also disclosed that the show won't spoil "The Winds of Winter." "People are talking about whether the books are going to be spoiled - and it's really not true," he told Entertainment Weekly.

Who Will Survive In 'The Winds of Winter'

Meanwhile, violence and death is a common subject in "ASOIAF" series. Thus, it is understandable for fans and readers to expect a lot of deaths in "The Winds of Winter." In fact, Parent Herald previously reported that Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Arya and Bran Stark may die in the next book.

However, other sources claimed that some of the said characters are destined to survive "The Winds of Winter." For those wondering, who among the dear characters will survive in "TWOW," Christian Today reported that Jon Snow, Arya, Daenerys, Bran and Tyrion would get to the last scenes of the TV series alive. So, more likely, these characters will also survive in the book.

However, although there's a big possibility to see the same characters survive in the book, fans should still take this report with a grain of salt because George RR Martin writes with twists and surprises, so it is also not unlikely if there's a difference between "GoT" and "The Winds of Winter."
