'Game Of Thrones' Season 7 News & Update: Sophie Turner Calls Out Jon Snow - 'He Doesn't Have Sansa's Intellect'

Sansa Stark on "Game of Thrones" doesn't think her brother, Jon Snow, will make a good king for the Seven Kingdoms. She feels the current King in the North has no intelligence and experience compared to her. This revelation comes from the actress playing Sansa herself, Sophie Turner. The star shared her thoughts on the siblings during a fan event at the recent Comic Con panel in San Diego.

'Game Of Thrones' Season 7: Sansa & Jon Should Both Rule

Sophie Turner revealed that Sansa is not bent on pursuing the throne. However, this doesn't mean that the character isn't fit to rule, or that she thinks her brother Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) is a better fit in the  "Game of Thrones" kingdom.

"[Sansa] doesn't think he has the intellect, the knowledge, and the experience that she has, and I concur," turner told fans who asked the question at the Comic Con panel, per Vanity Fair. If the actress could have it her way, she would have Sansa and Jon rule the kingdom together, as Queen and King respectively.

But Sophie Turner concedes Jon Snow "has those Stark morals," per TV Line. This pushes Jon to decide on what is right, even if this doesn't bring any benefit to anyone.

She also hints Sansa's loyalty towards her brother may wave in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. "It's very interesting to see where her loyalties will now lie," she told the crowd, referencing her alliance with Littlefinger.

'Game Of Thrones' Season 7: Sibling Rivalry - Sansa vs. Jon

Fans speculate that the siblings will clash in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 and Sophie Turner stressed that the rivalry between Sansa and Jon has always been there. "She was always influenced by her mother's resentment towards Jon because of Ned allegedly cheating on her," the actress said via Variety.

The conflict could soon worsen when Sansa would eventually discover Jon Snow's real lineage in future episodes. However, Sophie Turner said that the discovery might also be a good thing and will bring them closer as kins.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 won't return to HBO until late in the summer of 2017. Producers have confirmed pushing the filming schedule back to take advantage of the weather and environment during winter.
