"Vikings Season 4" midseason premiere will be busy with "Warcraft" star Travis Fimmel reestablishing his rule in Kattegat among resentful sons and people. As "Vikings Season 4" now explores the dynamics between Ragnar Lothbrok and his sons, eldest son Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) may turn against the Kattegat ruler.

Deadline cites the "Vikings Season 4" midseason trailer revealed at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con (SDDC). Bjorn Ironside was warned by the Seer that Ragnar Lothbrok returning to Kattegat, which happened at "Vikings Season 4" midseason finale, only brings loss and tragedy.

 Bjorn Ironside, however, assured the Seer that the firstborn has no fear of implications by the return of Ragnar Lothbrok. Although the "Vikings Season 4" midseason tease seemed more personal for Bjorn Ironside, the Seer may also have been alluding to the battles to which Ragnar Lothbrok will take his sons and the Kattegat warriors.

Parent Herald reports that during one of these missions in "Vikings Season 4," Bjorn Ironside and Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) will grow closer. Very possibly Floki will, for Bjorn Ironside, take the place of Ragnar Lothbrok.

In the "Vikings" series, Bjorn Ironside had always exhibited much faith in Ragnar Lothbrok. Despite the occasional bouts of doubt as when Ragnar Lothbrok requested a Christian burial in "Vikings Season 3" and more than a few questionable decisions by the Kattegat leader, Bjorn Ironside stayed steadfast.

In a manner of speaking, Bjorn Ironside looking to Floki as a father figure is a betrayal of Ragnar Lothbrok. However, this affection may grow into a real betrayal between Bjorn Ironside and Ragnar Lothbrok in "Vikings Season 4."

Bjorn Ironside will also seek the now French prince Rollo (Clive Standen) as he executes a mission assigned by Ragnar Lothbrok. As Bjorn Ironside knows, Rollo has betrayed Ragnar Lothbrok on many occasions in the "Vikings" series.

Meanwhile, Deadline also reports that "Vikings" series creator and writer for History, Michael Hirst may have discovered the grave of the most famous son of Ragnar Lothbrok, Ivar The Boneless. In "Vikings Season 4" Ivar The Boneless (Alexander Hogh Andersen) comes through as the favorite son of Ragnar Lothbrok.
