According to TV Guide, show creator Michael Hirst promised that Ragnar Lothbrok will rise from the ashes as "Vikings" Season 4 continues. However, Ragnar Lothbrok and sons will share the "Vikings" Season 4 spotlight.

"He's a cripple, and yet he becomes this dominant, extraordinary alpha-male," Michael Hirst said of the historical Ivar The Boneless.

Despite all the attention on Ragnar Lothbrok and his sons at "Vikings" Season 4 midseason premiere, Rollo will continue strong in S4. History reports that Rollo will be well represented by Clive Standen at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con, joining Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Gustaf Skarsgård (Loki), Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn Ironside), Travis Fimmel and Michael Hirst.
