‘Minecraft’ Game Now With Oculus Rift Support; Pocket Edition Available On Android Apps

Microsoft announced that Minecraft will support Facebook's Oculus Rift. Minecraft is now made available on Android Apps on Google play. There are many things that the players can look forward to in the latest update of the game.

When Minecraft is made available with Oculus Rift Support, it means that Redmond will be using its favorite brand to make the PC owners upgrade to its latest desktop OS. Even Microsoft hopes to make many PC users upgrade to its new operating system as soon as possible, reported The Verge.

This actually came after a very long wait. Microsoft is now all set to give a virtual reality taste to the Minecraft video game users. The support rendered to Minecraft would also mean that there will be a lot of interesting things available. The price that a PC owner will spend on virtual reality visors and the powerful computers will ultimately be justified.

Minecraft will soon be playable on Oculus VR's visors. Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Beta will be getting the Oculus Rift VR support for the next few weeks. All the main methods and features of the PC game will be supported on the VR version of the headset.

The latest update of "Minecraft" includes jungles, temples, texture packs and Xbox live support. It also has a brand new service called Realms. Realms enable the player to play with friends all over the world. Here, the players can build amazing things as their imagination will allow them to in the randomly generated worlds that they explore, reports Tech Crunch.

Minecraft is popularly known as sandbox video game. It was originally created by a Swedish programmer named Markus "Notch" Persson. It was later published and developed by Mojang.
