Steve Irwin's Widow Terri Says she has Never Dated Anyone Since Husband's Death 10 Years ago

Steve Irwin died nearly 10 years ago and his widow, Terri Irwin, revealed that she has not gone on a single date since his untimely death. The "Crocodile Hunter" star's wife shared more about his death with the latest issue of The Australian Woman's Weekly.

Terri shared with the publication that she does not want to be involved in any other romantic relationship other than the one she had with Steve. She said, "I haven't been on a single date since Steve died. If I hadn't met Steve, I probably would never have married because I wasn't looking for love when I met him. What we had was incredible."

Steve and Terri met back in 1991 and tied the knot just eight months after dating, E! News reported. They then had two children together, namely 18-year-old Bindi and 12-year-old Robert. They were married for 14 years when Steve died from a stingray attack. His chest was pierced by a stingray barb back in September 2006.

The 52-year-old widow continued to say that she has no interest in meeting anyone and dating them because she already had her happily ever after with the late Steve. The mother-of-two told the publication that she still feels immense love and loyalty to Steve and that she has great kids and a very full life. Despite being lonely for Steve, she believes she is not a lonely person due to the people surrounding her and the work that she does.

Terri added, "I think for other people who have lost someone and have loved again, it's a beautiful thing, but it's just not really on my horizon."

After Steve's death, Terri shared with Barbara Walters that the accident that killed her husband was so stupid. She shared that what she will miss most about her husband is the fact that he was fun and that he taught her that it is okay to "play in the rain and splash in mud puddles." She added that Steve never sweats the little stuff.
