PS4 News: Sony ‘Playstation VR’ Faces Unforseen Issues; Official Release On October Gets Delay?

With just 3 months to go before the release of Sony's Playstation VR, which will be a new gear for PS4, there are some reports that the "Playstation VR" is facing some problems. As game testers tried the Sony PlayStation VR with the latest games for PS4, testers found some issues that may affect its market in the future.

The PlayStation VR was introduced at E3 last June 2016, during the presentation, Sony Executive Andrew House confirms the release of "Playstation VR" this October. Alongside with the upcoming PS4 NEO, Playstation VR will be an upgrade to the PS4 for a better or can even deliver the best gaming experience.

In a report made by Forbes, though PlayStation VR may hook the consumer's pocket to its cheaper market price than the current competitors' version such as the amazing Oculus Rift and the expensive HTC Vive, PlayStation VR has faced some issues, yet it hasn't been released.

PlayStation VR is reportedly having trouble when it was tested to play the upcoming Resident Evil 7. Pointing out the control scheme of RE7, where a player can move the camera without turning the head, this is actually a disturbing issue for VR players. With this, some are saying that the developers' target is at least 60fps since Sony requires them to do so, this might be the possible reason why Playstation VR is not that smooth, unlike its competitors.

Another issue is that the "Playstation VR" headset has an unnoticeable weakness since the "Playstation VR" will be incorporated with Playstation Move. Sony is expecting the Playstation Move to rise back due to its failure to beat the Nintendo Wii.

In VR gaming, precision is the key, and it may look not too impressive the fact that Sony will revive the PlayStation Move to control the Playstation VR. It might be difficult for them to beat the accuracy of HTC and Oculus since both are using touch controls.

It may be too late for Sony to add or create a new controlling system for PlayStation VR, but with 3 months before the release, Sony can still make changes and fixes to prevent the issues before it becomes a huge problem that may cause them to lose millions of dollars.

The PlayStation VR is a $399 gaming gear according to 2P.com, it is expected to deliver a high-quality VR gaming experience this coming October 13 with the latest games that will be released for PS4 this year.
