"Vikings Season 4" may be one of the closest expositions History fans will have on the ending of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and the rise of ruthless, feared Viking Ivar The Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen). "Vikings Season 4" will expose the interesting disparity between Ragnar Lothbrok and Ivar The Boneless where the Kattegat ruler runs away from the pressure of Viking rule while his youngest son with Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) embraces it.

  Michael Hirst explained that at that point, Ragnar Lothbrok had actually wanted to disappear from history.
