The "Minecraft" fans can now enjoy the game's virtual world with the use of Oculus Rift headset. Owners of Oculus Rift may download the "Minecraft" Windows 10 version via the Oculus Store.

The Minecraft Windows 10 Edition has been released, though the version is still in beta, players who already own the original Minecraft PC version may download it for free. However, the original "Minecraft" for PC can be purchased for just $10 via the Microsoft Store.

In a report made by Ars Technica, a year ago, Microsoft expands the support for "Minecraft" and is partnered with the Oculus Rift to bring the "Minecraft" to a VR level game. Now the wait is over and Minecraft fans can now jump into the virtual world of "Minecraft". A face-to-face battle against the virtual mobs will be an exciting experience as the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headset puts you in your customized virtual world.

The name Minecraft or Minecraft-VR is still in talks until the official release comes. The new "Minecraft" VR features the typical Lego-like graphics, but this time it has MSAA support for a crisp detail and a new rendering distance supported with Microsoft's DirectX 11. The "Minecraft" VR can be played using a basic mouse and keyboard, and Mojang confirmed that the Xbox controller is also supported for a more comfortable turning.

"Minecraft" has been a success for Mojang since day 1, receiving several awards since its release in 2011. From kids to adults, "Minecraft" captured the hearts of its fans with its unique gameplay. "Minecraft" sold more than 100 million copies over the past 5 years and it was now under the property of Microsoft since 2014.

Gamespot reported that during the recent E3, Microsoft announced a cross-play support between the Mobile and Windows platform. With this, "Minecraft" players using Android, iOS and windows can play together in an online multiplayer mode.
