NBA Trade Rumors: Los Angeles Lakers Really Want Nick Young Out Of Team? Swaggy P To Join Jeremy Lin In Brooklyn Nets?

Los Angeles Lakers has been one of the players who became the center of trade rumors for the 2016 offseason and the latest report surrounding him is that he will be joining Jeremy Lin in Brooklyn Nets. This comes after it was reported that Los Angeles Lakers do not want to have any problem for the 2016-2017 NBA season since it is known for a fact that Young is not in good terms with his teammate D'Angelo Russell.

According to previous reports, Young would either be traded or waived by the Los Angeles Lakers this year. However, if he does get traded or waived, Brooklyn Nets has been linked to the layer. Brooklyn Nets recently lost Tyler Johnson and Allen Crabbe to Miami Heat and Portland Trail Blazers respectively so they are in need of more team members for the 2016-2017 NBA season, Sportsrageous reported.

Analysts are saying that Brooklyn Nets acquiring Young via a trade could be a great deal since they need a shooting guard to play with their current point guard Jeremy Lin. Brooklyn Nets have many point guards to back-up Lin but they are in desperate need of a shooting guard. They now have Greivis Vasquez and Randy Foye for the point guard positions and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Bojan Bodganovic for the forward spots. Adding Young would make their rotation and roster workable.

Yibada reported that that Los Angeles Lakers has been trying to trade Young for a time now and are willing to buy him out if necessary. Last season, Los Angeles Lakers suffered from the performance of Young as he only averaged 7.3 points. He also played under 20 minutes in the 54 games that Los Angeles Lakers played last NBA season.

If and when the Los Angele Lakers-Brooklyn Nets deal would happen regarding Young, Brooklyn Nets will not be able to offer any valuable player as of the moment but they could send future second round picks if they want to acquire Young. Young has two years left in his deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Should Brooklyn Nets acquire Young? Let us know what you think.
