Creepy Clown Lures Children Into The Woods in South Carolina

A creepy sighting has been the talk of the town in Greensville, North Carolina. It was mentioned that there has been strange clown sightings that reportedly lures children into the woods.

Several clown sightings were reported earlier this week as children, and Master Deputy Drew Pinciaro stated that authorities have received calls of complaints of the clown sightings. Some adults were also able to see the sinister clowns causing mischief according to BuzzFeed's report.

Aside from these phone calls, it was also mentioned that one mother shared that her son was able to get a closer look of the sinister clown. She mentioned that the clowns are in the woods, whispering and even making strange noises. She did a deeper investigation with regards to her son's statement, where she found out that there were several clowns in the woods and they would even flash green laser lights.

The woman's other son then claimed that the clowns indeed were causing mischief. It was mentioned that he told police officers that he was able to hear banging and chains being dragged at their home's front door.

A woman who also surfaced told CNN that she thought her family were only the ones that experienced the unusual clown sightings. She then told the reporters that there are around 30 kids who also stated that they have seen the clowns also.

"I thought my child was seeing things," she said to CNN. "And then the next day I had about 30 kids come up to me and say, 'Did you see the clown in the woods?'"

In order to take care of the residence's safety, the apartment complex wrote a letter to their tenants. It was then mentioned that the residents should take necessary safety precautions especially when it comes to the given curfew.

"There [have] been several [conversations] and a lot of complaints to the office regarding a clown or a person dressed in clown clothing talking to children or trying to lure children into the woods," a letter sent by the property management stated. "At no times should a child be alone at night, or walking in the roads or wooded area at night."
